Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour based on experience

Lynn Care Center is looking for a dependable and caring Dietary Cook to join our team! If you enjoy preparing meals and take pride in providing delicious, nutritious food, we would love to have you on our team.

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements

• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation guidelines

• Prepare meals that meet the nutritional and special dietary needs of our residents

• Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served safely and at the proper temperature

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen

• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations

• Assist with meal service and ensure meals are served on schedule

• Monitor food supplies and communicate when items need to be reordered

• Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team

• Help create a positive dining experience for our residents

• Treat residents with kindness, respect, and compassion

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred

• Healthcare, long-term care, or institutional food service experience is a plus

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary instructions

• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices

• Reliable and dependable

• Ability to work as part of a team
