Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Henderson, NV
Position Type: Full-Time | 10-Month | 2026-2027 School Year
Setting: In-Person | K-12 Specialized School

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

The SLP will collaborate closely with school leadership, teachers, families, and related service providers to support students' academic achievement and communication development while ensuring services align with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with IDEA timelines.

• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech and language services.

• Provide direct speech and language therapy individually and in small groups.

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement classroom-based communication strategies.

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

• Provide consultation and education to staff and families regarding speech and language development.

• Monitor student progress and modify intervention plans as needed.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

• Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license .

• CCC-SLP preferred or eligibility for certification.

• Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of IDEA and special education compliance requirements .

• Experience working with K-12 students is preferred.

• Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities is a plus.

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcomed.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will work in classroom and therapy settings and may travel between campuses if assigned. The position involves regular collaboration with teachers, families, school leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication and educational goals.
