General Service Technician - Corpus Christi

Responsibilities Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and providing preventive maintenance for gasoline-related equipment; tests leak detectors and product lines. Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains cash registers, money order machines, and safes by troubleshooting, repairing, and reprogramming equipment. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains working climate by installing, repairing, and servicing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Keeps equipment, systems, and building ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restores and repairs faulty or inoperative HVAC systems and associated equipment; repairs and replaces doors, plumbing, and tiles; paints; and recommends changes and new HVAC installations. Maintains gas pumps by changing nozzles, hoses, splash guards, filters, and display boards. Ensures operation of equipment by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment such as walk‑in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators, and fountains. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. 3‑5 years of experience in the maintenance field. Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric carts, use power and hand tools, crouch and/or crawl, use a ladder, and lift up to 80 lbs. Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple changing priorities and work independently in a high‑priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
