This is a hands-on, mid-level engineering role with significant ownership and impact on platform reliability and scalability.You will work closely with Principal Engineers and internal customers to design, build, and maintain Kubernetes environments tailored to business needs, while ensuring operational excellence of the platform.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environmentsWork with Principal Engineers and internal customers to gather requirements and design Kubernetes-based solutionsProvision, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliabilityPerform ongoing infrastructure maintenance, including:Operating System updates and patchingKubernetes upgrades and lifecycle managementSupporting software updates across the platform stackMonitor platform health and proactively improve system stability and efficiencyTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issuesContribute to automation, tooling, and infrastructure-as-code initiativesParticipation in team on-call rotationsQualificationsRequiredSolid hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster operations, upgrades, troubleshooting) – RKE1/2, CAPIExperience with AWS or similar cloud platformsWorking knowledge of Golang and PythonExperience using GitHub for code and collaborationHands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automationExperience managing infrastructure maintenance, patching, and upgradesAbility to work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive engineering mindsetNice to HaveExperience with hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud)Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesKnowledge of Kubernetes networking, security, and observability toolingExperience with Kyverno policies for Kubernetes governance and complianceFamiliarity with Backstage (developer portal/platform engineering tooling)The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
