Position Summary Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist – Psychiatry. Field‑based role located in Fort Wayne, IN (also coverage of Muncie, IN; Marion, IN; Goshen, IN). The Specialist drives demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines within their portfolio by engaging healthcare providers (HCPs) and other stakeholders, ensuring safe and appropriate use while meeting business objectives. The role requires 100% field presence and close collaboration with internal BMS functions to deliver an enhanced customer experience. Key Responsibilities Promotes approved indications of BMS products within assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner. Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for patient‑appropriate use. Continually develops and applies scientific expertise across all assigned products and therapeutic areas. Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans. Utilizes tools such as CE^3 to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback to leadership. Demonstrates scientific expertise using approved resources to present accurate, label‑consistent information to HCPs. Conducts in‑office presentations and manages external speaker programs. Provides real‑time medical support through Medical on Call for complex inquiries. Collaborates with field teams to ensure optimal customer experience and shares relevant insights internally. Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies. Required Qualifications & Experience Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales, clinical support, or HCP engagement. Excellent communication of scientific/clinical data to physicians. Demonstrated ability to build credibility with key customers and stakeholders. Preferred experience in neurology. Strong account management skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Effective cross‑functional teamwork and positive mindset. Proven selling and promotional competencies.
