We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Steward to support a strategic enterprise data transformation initiative focused on establishing modern data infrastructure, governance, and stewardship practices. This role will help define, manage, and govern critical enterprise data assets while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Steward to support a strategic enterprise data transformation initiative focused on establishing modern data infrastructure, governance, and stewardship practices. This role will help define, manage, and govern critical enterprise data assets while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and support enterprise data governance and stewardship frameworks.
- Define data standards, business rules, ownership models, and data quality controls.
- Lead data mapping activities across new and existing data platforms.
- Define and document data lineage, metadata, and business glossaries.
- Develop and manage data quality contracts and governance processes.
- Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives across key domains, including clients, products, and securities.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications and partner with architects, developers, and engineers on implementation.
- Facilitate governance discussions and drive resolution of data quality and ownership issues.
- Support adoption of enterprise data governance tools and processes.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Stewardship , or related disciplines.
- Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, data mapping, MDM, data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Collibra, Informatica Data Governance, Informatica MDM , or similar governance platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale data transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Background in Treasury, Financial Services, Banking Operations, or Capital Markets .
- Experience developing enterprise data governance frameworks and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
