KENNEL ATTENDANT

Barkaritaville Pet Resort in Corpus Christi is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Kennel Attendants to help us deliver top-notch care to the pets entrusted to us. Whether you're looking to build a long-term career or pick up part-time hours doing something meaningful, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for dependable, energetic individuals who can work hard, take initiative, and always put pets first.

Pay:

$12.00-$13.00 per hour + Tips , based on experience

Schedule Options:

• Full-Time: 30-35 hours per week
• Part-Time: 20-30 hours per week Shifts Hours:
• 7:00AM - 6:30PM
• 7:00AM - 1:00PM
• 12:00PM - 6:30PM

Weekend and holiday availability is required for both roles. If you cannot work at least alternating weekends and holidays we ask that you DO NOT APPLY.

Job Overview:

As a Kennel Attendant, your primary role is to care for dogs staying at our facility by ensuring their comfort, cleanliness, safety, and happiness. You'll spend your time engaging with dogs of all sizes and personalities and helping maintain a clean and well-organized environment.

Daily tasks include:

• Feeding, walking, and bathing pets
• Monitoring behavior and reporting any concerns
• Cleaning and sanitizing suites, yards, and common areas
• Scooping waste, mopping, vacuuming, and doing laundry
• Assisting with check-ins and check-outs
• Occasionally giving facility tours and updating pet records in our system
• Working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, humidity, and rain

This is a physically active position. You will be bending, lifting, walking, and on your feet for most of your shift.
