Position Overview

As a Restaurant Supervisor , you will serve as a vital bridge between store management, front-of-house staff, and kitchen personnel. You will oversee daily shift operations, ensure top-tier guest satisfaction, maintain food safety and cleanliness standards, and mentor team members in delivering warm, authentic hospitality. This is an ideal role for an experienced lead, senior server, or shift manager looking to build leadership experience within a growing, family-backed business.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff during open, mid, or closing shifts to ensure smooth, efficient operations and timely guest service.
• Guest Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests; resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure repeat business.
• Staff Coaching & Training: Train, mentor, and motivate new and existing team members on menu knowledge, service standards, register procedures, and safety protocols.
• Quality & Food Safety Control: Perform regular walk-throughs to verify food quality, presentation standards, temperature logs, sanitation practices, and compliance with local health regulations.
• Inventory & Opening/Closing: Assist management with daily cash handling, till drawer reconciliations, shift closing reports, keyholder duties, and routine inventory checks.
• Floor Flow Management: Monitor table turnover, host stand pacing, and kitchen ticket times during peak dining hours to maintain optimal floor energy and efficiency.
• Team Communication: Run pre-shift huddles, assign daily sidework and station duties, and communicate operational goals or menu changes clearly to the team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisor, shift lead, or senior team lead experience in a fast-casual or full-service restaurant environment required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) is a major plus.
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient with modern POS systems, basic math, cash handling procedures, and shift reporting.
• Deep commitment to hospitality, team culture, and high cleanliness standards.
• Physical requirement: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, multitask in a high-volume environment, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
