Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including telemetry monitoring when indicated
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient status checks; document findings promptly
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and care for wounds and drains according to orders; monitor for adverse reactions
- Monitor telemetry data, respond to rhythm changes, and operate/adjust equipment as needed
- Recognize and respond to clinical changes; collaborate with physicians and the broader care team; participate in care planning and rapid problem-solving
- Conduct stroke assessments (NIHSS) as part of neurological monitoring; participate in stroke care pathways and safety protocols
- Document care in the electronic health record per policy; provide patient and family education and discharge planning

Requirements
- Licensure: MA RN license in hand required at time of submission
- Education: BSN required
- Experience: Recent MS bedside RN experience (3–4 years); minimum 1 year required for all specialties
- Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
- Other: Ability to work Nights; COVID-19 vaccination with current booster (no exemptions); SSN and DOB required for submission
- Additional: NIHSS stroke assessment competency; strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
