Custom Quality Analyst II (IDT Weekday 5 Days - Mid-day)

IDT seeks a Quality Analyst II to perform in-process and final QC testing on custom products using molecular biology methods and specialized equipment. The role involves conducting tests per SOPs, documenting results, data entry, and equipment maintenance in a Monday–Friday midday shift at the Coralville facility. A bachelor's degree in a life science field or associate's degree plus two years of lab experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures with accurate documentation
• Conduct in-process and final quality control testing using molecular biology methods and specialized equipment
• Perform data entry and peer review for accuracy in accordance with laboratory procedures
• Maintain and calibrate specialized equipment and assist with troubleshooting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, genetics, chemistry, or related life science field
• Associate's degree with 2 years of directly related laboratory experience
• Minimum 2 years of applicable laboratory experience
• Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment up to 35 pounds
• PCR and qPCR experience preferred
• Next Generation Sequencing experience preferred
• Enzymatics experience preferred
