Database Reliability Engineer

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Database Reliability Engineer will manage automated reliability and correctness test workflows within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring the performance and stability of the InfluxDB Enterprise 3 product. Key responsibilities Own and execute automated reliability, regression, and correctness test workflows within the CI/CD pipeline Implement and maintain repeatable test contracts to validate query accuracy and database compactions Collaborate with core developers to convert high-level specifications into formal test constraints Required qualifications Deep hands-on experience developing with Rust or a desire to learn Rust, with system experience in C++ or Golang Proven track record in performance, regression, and reliability validation frameworks Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of work experience Comfort using modern AI tools for troubleshooting and analyzing logs Competency with containerized environments and orchestration frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes
