Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced X-ray/Radiology Technologist for a temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic imaging, particularly in cardiology procedures, and be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and radiology exams in various departments.
• Ensure patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure proper patient care during imaging sessions.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including infection control and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent X-ray/Radiology Technologist experience required.
• Valid ARRT (R) certification is mandatory.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends as needed.
• Current state license or appropriate certification for radiologic technology.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, safety standards, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
