Purpose As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities include compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise on the sales floor or to customers' vehicles, checking inventory, interacting with customers, and operating forklifts. Restock the show floor with products. Organize merchandise to company standards for easy shopping. Load customers with the correct products. Assist customers in finding products and answer questions. Assist in other store areas as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Minimum Eligibility Requirements Must be 18 years or older. Basic math skills. Warehouse and customer service experience. Experience with heavy machinery or forklifts is preferred but not required. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Forklift certification through F&D or ability to obtain it. Where permissible, passing a drug test for heavy equipment certification. Working Conditions Occasional exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Noise level is typically quiet to moderate. Physical/Sensory Requirements Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently, with the capability to handle objects. Frequent use of hands and fingers, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping is required.
