Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will provide comprehensive pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care for patients. The RN will work independently while closely collaborating with physicians, technologists, and support staff in a growing Interventional Radiology program.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate/conscious sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Support the development and expansion of new Interventional Radiology service lines and advanced procedures.
• Utilize strong IV access and assessment skills to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Respond to emergencies using critical thinking and emergency response skills.
• Maintain knowledge of sterile technique and procedural workflows.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License (Arizona or compact state license).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 5 years of critical care experience preferred.
• Experience with conscious/moderate sedation administration and monitoring.
• Experience in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department is preferred.
