Substitute CustodiansLocation: Various BuildingsHours: On-call, as needed. Hours vary.Salary: $19.17 per hourEssential Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of building.Operates custodial equipment.Assist in district operations, maintenance and care of school buildings.Perform custodial duties indoors and/or outdoors as needed.Accept and carry out duties as assigned.Lift and move heavy objects up to 60 pounds unassisted.Assist in completion of duties from a ladder, heights, scissor lifts and/or Geni lifts.Provide exceptional customer service and responsiveness.Maintain good work attendance.Communicate professionally with staff, students, vendors and/or parents.Non-Essential Responsibilities:Assist other personnel as may be required to support them with the completion of their work activities.Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, required.Prior job-related experience preferred but not required.Valid Washington State Driver's License with a good driving record, required.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of general custodian duties.Ability to work unsupervised.Physical ability to do heavy lifting, prolonged standing, squatting, bending, stooping, carrying and/or climbing ladders.Ability to communicate clearly, work effectively with students, staff and/or parents.Ability to work all shifts.Notice of Nondiscrimination: Pasco School District does not discriminate in any programs or activities on the basis of sex, race, creed, age, religion, color, national origin, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, disability, or the use of trained guide dog or service animal.
