Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing family-centered, comprehensive critical care to pediatric patients admitted with various medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong Pediatric ICU experience, including CVICU, and be comfortable with high-acuity patient management.

Job Details:

• Location: Madison, WI 53792
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: WI RN or compact RN license, at least 2 years of current acute care experience in pediatric critical care or CVICU, strong Pediatric ICU experience and CVICU experience required, EPIC electronic charting system experience, BLS and PALS certifications, ability to pass telemetry test prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level II trauma hospital, extensive level 2 pediatric ICU experience, high acuity hospital background.
• Additional Information: This position involves floating as needed and requires pass/fail telemetry testing with strict scoring criteria. candidate must demonstrate competency in lethal rhythm identification and cardiac rhythm interpretation through exams scheduled before start date. The unit supports a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, and infants with diagnoses such as cardiac, respiratory, and neuro conditions, including transplants and ECMO.
