Job Title Geriatrics Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Job Type Independent Practice (not employed physician) Overview This position is for physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for the non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. Responsibilities Provide clinical care within your specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO's support as required. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support. EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems. Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination. Accounting, financial reporting, and practice financial infrastructure. HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support. Supply chain and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership.
