Assistant Baseball Coach - Afterschool Sports

Position Summary The Assistant Baseball Coach will be responsiblefor working closely with the head coach and the team to organize and lead allaspects of the baseball program, including practices, games, playerdevelopment, and team culture. Responsibilities Plan and conduct effective practices and gamestrategies Develop student-athletes’ skills, teamwork, andsportsmanship Supervise athletes during practices, games, andtravel Maintain compliance with school, district, andLHSSA rules Communicate with players, parents, and school staff Organize tryouts and team selection Ensure proper care and inventory of equipment anduniforms Promote academic success and positive behavioramong athletes Background check and Drug Test required Qualifications Previous coaching and/or playing experience in baseball preferred Knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, andtraining methods Strong leadership, communication, andorganizational skills Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness toobtain) Preferred Qualifications High school or club coaching experience Experience with strength and conditioning programs #J-18808-Ljbffr Sophie B.
