Our team at Berkshire Medical Center's Emergency Department is trained to handle any medical emergency with the highest level of care, provided by physicians, nurses, technologists and other caregivers who understand how troubling these unexpected moments can be for you and your loved ones.

Berkshire Medical Center is verified as a Level III Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons, which recognizes our ability to provide immediate, specialized care to critically ill or injured patients. Emergency Department staff are members of the trauma team, providing early care and resuscitation, if needed. Also, our nurses are all certified in trauma care and advanced cardiac life support.

NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).


Traveler must be willing to work Thanksgiving (including Friday and weekend after) AND Christmas-New Year Day Block, (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved. Thanks!

Requirement description :

• 2 years current Emergency Room experience
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO PROFILE - PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. "ANYTIME" WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC - Facility will not pend license/certs)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Massachusetts

Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend/Holiday coverage required if needed
