Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Environmental Services Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout patient care and non-patient areas. This important role supports infection prevention efforts and ensures a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of patient rooms, offices, public areas, and other assigned spaces

• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment

• Clean and disinfect beds, restrooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment

• Replenish supplies and remove trash and linen promptly

• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment

• Follow infection prevention guidelines and safety procedures

• Properly use cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety equipment

• Respond to department needs and complete assigned tasks efficiently

  Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

• Previous hospital or healthcare housekeeping experience

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old to operate certain floor machines and carpet equipment
