With 5 applications and apis we have multiple projects in flight. location: Saint Louis, Missouri job type: Contract salary: $41 - 51 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Typical Day in the Role Lead a QA team of 2 other QA individuals. We have both manual testing and automated test development currently. You will be developing and coordinating test plans for upcoming stories being worked for the 5 applications and APIs this team manages. You will also participate in agile meetings that include refinement of stories that require an understanding the QA effort needed to properly test. Performance Expectations/metrics: The QA Engineer should participate in refinements and provide LOE for QA when pointing stories. The QA Engineer should also be able to QA stories in a reasonable time. Bugs making it past QA should be a minimum. qualifications: Candidate Requirements Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field Years of experience required: 5+ years experience needed Disqualifiers: lacking knowledge and experience with Test plan development and manual/automated testing. Additional qualities to look for: Healthcare background preferred but not required skills: Top 2 must-have hard skills stack-ranked by importance Should be familiar with Test Plan development, Manual and Automated testing. Familiar with qTest, the tool we design our test plans in is preferred.
