Marketing Strategist

Our Marketing Strategist position involves a variety of responsibilities, including managing client campaigns, building relationships with clients and overseeing coordination of any marketing, creative or advertising needs. You’ll be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and successful marketing strategy for our clients. We are seeking an experienced, positive, talented, adaptable, highly-motivated, and strategic teammate with a strong work ethic. A qualified candidate for this position must have prior and/or current experience at a marketing firm or in-house position, in account service, being client-facing, overseeing project management on your accounts, and building all encompassing strategies. Responsibilities Set specific marketing goals for client campaigns Design and implement marketing strategies and target personas to align with campaign goals Analyze sales and marketing metrics Research market trends and generate innovative ideas to promote client brand and products Liaise with internal teams to ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels Use client feedback to ensure client satisfaction and project/campaign success Manage client expectations on timelines, processes and results Manage billable hours and utilization on projects/campaigns Write content for client assets (such as social media posts, blogs, etc.) as needed Assist in preparing client invoices, proposals and marketing/media planning Audit client billing and media billing sheets on a regular basis Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients Assist in developing new contracts for renewals and new business Working knowledge of: Traditional media buys on platforms: TV, Radio, Out-of-Home, Print, Cable Digital media buys on platforms: Google/Bing, Social Media, Programmatic (CTV, Display, Video, Native, etc.) Reports to: Director of Marketing Strategy Experience, Hours And Compensation Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience at an in-house or agency setting Proven work experience as an Account Manager/Marketing Strategist/Account Executive Full-time salaried (Salary commensurate with experience) Minimum 40 hours per week (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday) An occasional weekend/after hours event may be requested and/or required for clients and/or networking opportunities In office on Mondays, Wednesdays and available for in-person meetings as needed Salary commensurate with experience Additional experience and skill sets we're looking for: Client-facing experience leading meetings, fielding questions centered around marketing services and pitching new concepts Experience with setting up and executing digital and/or traditional media Experience working in healthcare, financial, tourism or government industries Ability to analyze analytics and provide recommendations A bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, advertising or related field Benefits Benefits of working at Freestyle include: Flexible, hybrid remote work setup 401k 4% match after one year of employment Comprehensive health benefits (medical, vision, dental) Competitive paid time off and paid holidays Regular team building events Family leave Short-term disability and life insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) Profit sharing opportunities after one year of employment Ongoing professional development opportunities Continual learning and industry networking opportunities Team community service and volunteer opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
