Third party Risk Specialist

A leading global alternative investment platform is seeking a Third Party Risk Specialist to support and enhance its enterprise-wide vendor risk management program. This individual will play a key role in overseeing third-party risk processes across a complex, multi-strategy investment environment, partnering closely with teams across Compliance, Legal, Information Security, Procurement, and Operations. The firm offers exposure to a highly sophisticated institutional platform with investment strategies spanning public and private markets, quantitative investing, venture capital, and private equity. Key responsibilities include administering and optimizing the firm’s third-party risk management platform, managing vendor onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes, conducting risk assessments, maintaining vendor governance standards, and driving program improvements and reporting initiatives. The role will also focus on identifying emerging vendor risks, strengthening controls, and supporting scalable risk management processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience within third-party risk management, vendor governance, operational risk, or related areas, preferably within financial services or alternative asset management environments.
