Schedule: 13-week assignment with every other weekend requirement (average 6 weekend shifts per contract); no call required; maximum 7 days requested time off permitted

Highlights:

• Float pool position supporting Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and Progressive Care units throughout the facility
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 for PCU; 1:5-6 for MS and MS/Tele units
• Epic EMR experience required; facility also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols
• Adult to geriatric patient population with diverse diagnoses across multiple specialty areas
• Holiday coverage required based on assignment dates; comprehensive orientation and interdisciplinary support provided
• Flexibility and adaptability essential for this dynamic float role

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6 for MS/Tele and 1:4-5 for PCU settings
• Skills in telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, blood product administration, wound care, and management of various drips and medical equipment
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); full compliance documentation due prior to start date
