STEM Professional for AI Coding Agent Training

Apply your day-to-day STEM and software development experience to help improve AI coding agents through detailed, real-world technical input. This remote contract role focuses on documenting how tools such as Copilot support complex development work, from navigating large codebases to debugging and architectural change. No previous AI experience is required. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute expertise that helps train and evaluate next-generation AI systems.
• Provide detailed technical insights and examples of using AI coding agents in complex software development workflows.
• Document nuanced use cases involving large codebase navigation, difficult debugging, and architectural refactoring or implementation changes.
• Create thorough walkthroughs of end-to-end feature development and ambiguous technical problem-solving with AI tools.
• Explain your decision-making, tools used, and the ways AI agents affected productivity or code quality.
• Submit structured assessments of AI coding agent features, including practical effectiveness and improvement suggestions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication.

• Current STEM professional who actively uses AI coding agents in daily technical work.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI agents to sophisticated programming challenges, including large codebase navigation, debugging, and architectural refactoring.
• Experience producing detailed technical documentation or feedback in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and thoroughness.
• Familiarity with multiple AI coding tools and an understanding of their strengths and limitations.
• Comfort collaborating remotely and asynchronously across distributed teams.
