Position Overview

As a Commercial Outside Sales Professional, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, property managers, facility managers, healthcare providers, hospitality organizations, manufacturers, retail businesses, and other commercial clients. Your focus will be identifying pest management risks, understanding each customer's operational needs, and developing customized commercial pest prevention programs.

You'll generate new business, build lasting client relationships, and help organizations protect their people, property, brand reputation, and regulatory compliance through professional pest management solutions.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, networking, consultative selling, and building long-term customer partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Develop new commercial business through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and company-generated leads
• Identify and pursue opportunities across multiple commercial industries
• Conduct comprehensive facility inspections and pest risk assessments
• Meet with business owners, property managers, and decision-makers to understand operational challenges
• Design customized commercial pest management solutions based on customer needs
• Prepare and present professional proposals, pricing, and service agreements
• Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities
• Build long-term relationships that generate recurring revenue and referrals
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and customer information within the CRM system
• Partner closely with Operations to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Participate in sales meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities
• Represent Aruza with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• Two or more years of outside sales experience preferred
• Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience strongly preferred
• Commercial pest control experience preferred but not required
• Proven ability to develop new business and consistently achieve sales goals
• Ability to learn technical aspects of commercial pest management services
• Strong computer proficiency and CRM experience
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (must pass MVR)
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening
