Job Responsibilities

• Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their functional objectives

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic and comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families in employing therapeutic techniques to support continuous improvement
• Monitor and Document Progress: Evaluate clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track to achieve their goals

Education Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from a regionally accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education as well as post-graduate certifications

Licensing and Certification

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in the state of California
• Required certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
