Sr Project Manager

- # Job Description# Sr Project Manager* Lead one or more project teams to successfully deliver assigned programs on time, within scope, and on budget* Own full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery* Manage project financials, schedules, risks, and quality measures* Define and maintain project scope aligned with contractual requirements, including change management* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets* Identify, track, and mitigate project risks through proactive planning* Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and documentation requirements* Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and track team progress* Coordinate cross-functional efforts across engineering, testing, and business teams* Lead requirements gathering, design coordination, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and collaborative relationships* Conduct client meetings, provide project updates, and ensure alignment on deliverables* Identify opportunities for additional services or enhancements and partner with business stakeholders* Support proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and contract development* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Transportation, Electrical), Computer Science, or related field* 5+ years of experience managing full lifecycle IT or technology projects* Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum preferred)* Background in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) or infrastructure-related technology projects is highly preferred* Strong experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams* Familiarity with ITIL or operational management frameworks is a plus* PMP certification required; Scrum certification (CSM) preferred* Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills* Proven ability to lead teams and navigate complex delivery environments* Exposure to transportation, traffic systems, or public-sector technology programs* Experience supporting proposals, client presentations, and business development efforts* Technical background or familiarity with software development and system integrations* Opportunity to lead impactful projects that improve public infrastructure and mobility* Collaborative, cross-functional environment with strong client engagement* Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package* Flexible remote work model with meaningful onsite collaboration*Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
