Surgical Services RN - Main Operating Room

Location: Main OR, 500 West Medical Center Blvd, 2nd Floor, Main Tower

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for our Main Operating Room. The ideal candidate will provide critical care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires proficiency in various surgical procedures, collaboration with surgical teams, and adherence to stringent safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary circulating nurse for surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.
• Assist in all aspects of patient care during surgeries across various specialties excluding transplants.
• Manage surgical equipment and maintain necessary supplies, including the operation of the XI robot.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other surgical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in call rotations and weekend on-call as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must have OR experience as a circulator in all service lines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced surgical environment preferred.
