This opportunity is based on a Warehouse Picker/Packer career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesPack orders accurately according to packing standards and shipping requirementsSelect correct packaging materials, label cartons, and prepare shipmentsAssist with receiving incoming freight, verify counts, and stage productLoad and unload trucks as neededMaintain clean and organized work areasFollow safety procedures and company guidelinesEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Experience reading pick tickets, packing lists, shipping labels, or electronic order systems. Ability to safely use RF scanners, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other warehouse equipment as required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy and quality. Dependable attendance and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.Recent packing/shipping experience Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse, fulfillment distribution shipping receiving or logistics experience is preferred. Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial. Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, or order fulfillment best practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, productivity, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Packer.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to safely handle products while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
