Full Time, Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm

and Part-Time Weekends 10am-4:30pm

John Scott House Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking to hire a n Activities Assistant ! We are looking for someone who is creative, energetic, friendly, and outgoing! The ideal candidate must enjoy working with older adults and in a team environment. Join our team!

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:  

• Assists in planning and implementation of organized groups and one on one programs. 

• Assist in developing a written comprehensive plan of care for each resident's activity program that identifies any problems or goals for each resident. 

• Complete daily data logbooks and quarterly reports on individual residents as assigned

• Lead/oversee residents engaged in scheduled activity programs to promote physical, social, and mental well-being of residents

• Transport residents to and from activity locations

• Assist with meal pass and snacks as requested

• Develop and maintain a good working report with resident, family members, and other departments

• Must be able to maintain composure in emergency situations

• Must be able to manage time efficiently and assure confidentiality of all residents

Activities Assistant Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing

• High School Diploma or GED
