Description

American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures RN with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience for a role supporting IR, CT, US, MRI, and NM imaging.

Details

• Imaging/Special Procedures unit providing nursing prep and recovery for IR, CT, US, MRI, NM, and Fluoro procedures
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday (0730-1230)
• Various shift start times: 0630, 0715, 0800
• Weekends and holidays off apart from occasional Saturday and required holiday coverage
• On call 2-3 shifts per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing preparation and recovery care for patients undergoing imaging and interventional radiology procedures
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
