Housekeeper, Full Time Evenings

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across various areas of the hospital, including patient rooms and clinical spaces.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
• Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.

Qualifications:

• One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
