Team Overview

The Pricing function is a strategic enterprise capability responsible for maximizing customer value, revenue growth, profitability, and commercial effectiveness across IPC's portfolio of trading communications, connectivity, and cloud-based services. The team works closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Legal, and Operations to establish pricing strategies, governance, monetization frameworks, and value-capture initiatives that support IPC's growth objectives.

As IPC continues to scale its recurring revenue and subscription-based offerings, the Pricing organization serves as a key advisor to executive leadership, helping guide pricing decisions through data, customer insights, market intelligence, and financial analysis.

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager, Renewals Planning & Budgeting leads renewal forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting to improve revenue predictability and realization.

This role maintains renewal schedules and operational controls, monitors uplift opportunities and churn risk, and enhances planning accuracy through integrated data, reporting and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own renewal planning, forecasting, budgeting, and renewal performance reporting.
• Maintain long-range renewal schedules, contract notice requirements, and annual increase calendars.
• Forecast renewal ARR, price uplift opportunities, churn risk, and revenue realization outcomes.
• Establish renewal targets and performance expectations aligned with company revenue objectives.
• Measure actual versus planned renewal performance and identify gaps, risks, and corrective actions.
• Monitor contract, customer, pricing, and consumption data to ensure forecasting accuracy.
• Maintain escalation calendars and operational controls supporting the renewal process.
• Support workflow automation, reporting enhancements, and transition of renewal planning capabilities.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Improve the accuracy and predictability of renewal ARR, pricing uplift and churn forecasts to support informed financial and commercial planning.
• Increase renewal revenue realization by establishing clear targets, tracking actual performance against plan and driving timely corrective action.
• Reduce renewal risk and missed opportunities through disciplined management of contract notices, annual increase calendars and escalation milestones.
• Create reliable performance visibility by connecting contract, customer, pricing and consumption data into actionable renewal reporting.
• Build a scalable renewal planning capability through stronger operational controls, automated workflows and enhanced reporting.

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, renewals operations, revenue operations, FP&A, or commercial planning.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience working with subscription revenue models, SaaS metrics, and renewal forecasting.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify business risks and opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail and data governance discipline.
• Experience working with CRM, ERP, reporting, and planning systems.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• MBA, CFA, CPA, or advanced qualification in Finance, Economics, or Analytics.
• Experience with scenario planning, cohort analysis, and probabilistic forecasting.
• Familiarity with customer health scoring, churn prediction, and retention analytics.
• Experience building planning models in enterprise performance-management tools.
• Working knowledge of contract metadata extraction and renewal-calendar automation.
• Experience supporting global, multi-currency, or multi-entity subscription businesses.
