The Project The Hudson Tunnel Project is a critical infrastructure initiative that aims to improve transportation reliability and capacity for the Northeast Corridor, one of the busiest rail corridors in the United States. This transformative project involves constructing a new tunnel under the Hudson River and rehabilitating the existing tunnel, ensuring long‑term resilience and sustainability for the region’s transportation system. As an intern, you will gain hands‑on experience contributing to one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the country. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, environmental specialists, and other professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, etc.) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering, environmental science, construction management, urban planning, Law or a related field. Academic standing in junior, senior, or graduate‑level programs preferred. You’ll Also Have Passion for infrastructure development and public service. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Previous internship or coursework related to transportation or construction projects is a plus.
