Housekeeper

Overview This is a full‑time Housekeeper position at Maryville in Beaverton, Oregon. Work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with rotating weekends. The role maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with infection control standards for residents, staff, and visitors. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to supervisor. Track and replenish cleaning supplies as needed. Follow infection control protocols, health and safety regulations, and procedures. Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, guests, and coworkers. Assist with special cleaning projects or events as assigned. Required Qualifications Ability to pass a criminal background check required of all campus employees. High school education or equivalent. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control standards preferred. Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, long‑term care, or hospitality preferred. Must be able to read, understand, and speak English fluently. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Work in temperature‑controlled office areas and frequently move through the entire facility, including patient rooms and common lobbies. Stand or walk for prolonged periods; lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds independently. Regular bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling required.
