Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse PCU

Every other weekend. Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Must be flexible to facility scheduling; no schedule requests can be accommodated.

Assignment Details

Minimum experience required: 1 year. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Maximum RTO is 7 days. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler must work both.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• 1 year of experience in a relevant unit

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective care to patients in a PCU setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in medical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Document patient assessments and care provided accurately and timely.

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant by the deadline, the delayed start will be two weeks due to the orientation schedule.
