The ideal candidate will have experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing, working in a high-paced Level 1 Trauma Hospital. This position requires strong clinical assessment skills and the capability to provide care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. Assignment Details Start Date: Not provided Shift Details: 3x12 Days Assignment Length: Not provided Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable) Charting System: EPIC Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with acute and chronic diseases, post-operative care, and manage common med-surg comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, and CHF. Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy. Perform clinical assessments, telemetry interpretation, and cardiac monitoring. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning. Manage wound care, post-operative monitoring, and pain management using PCA systems. Utilize various medical equipment including Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis for medication dispensing. Qualifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) competency Minimum 2 years Med/Tele RN experience Skills in trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and insulin drips Strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills Preferred: ACLS Certification National Medical-Surgical Certification Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 65212636.
