Level II Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12.0 rotating shift schedule including every other weekend, holidays, on-call, and callback as per unit needs. No straight shift schedules available.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for providing competent care based on established standards. The nurse assumes an expanded role that may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities, while practicing in a clinical environment focused on service excellence, professional development, and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Participate in charge nurse and preceptor duties as needed.
• Engage in professional development activities and contribute to nursing committees.
• Ensure adherence to clinical practices and standards as outlined by nursing management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) License (New York State ONLY)
• Two (2) years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Telemetry experience is required
