Come join our growing team of caring professionals!Job DescriptionCutting Edge Physical Therapy is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide coverage in our outpatient clinic. If you are passionate about providing quality care and looking for a supportive work environment, we encourage you to apply!Responsibilities include:Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation resultsReview the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment requiredProvide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelinesDocument findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregiversResponsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation techniciansComplete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goalsImplement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatmentsCommunicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companiesEnsure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reportsQualificationsCurrent state of Indiana license and CPR certificationAbility to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans or willingness to learn.Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office.Additional InformationWhat You'll Get:Competitive salaryTraining and supportMultiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadershipClinic mentorshipEmployee discount plansEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Family-friendly work environmentInvestment from a company that wants you to succeed and thrive.
