Teacher (Special Education) (Lebanon, TN)

Job Description

Job Description

At BRAINATION, we view education as a transformative journey unique to each student. Our approach nurtures personal growth, fosters a sense of belonging, and cultivates joy in learning. Through our inquiry-based model and emphasis on self-reflection, we guide students to develop critical skills such as resilience, curiosity, and emotional intelligence. This journey is not about reaching a standardized endpoint, but about continuous growth and discovery, preparing students to navigate life’s challenges and become lifelong learners who contribute positively to their communities.

Our Lebanon campus is located in a residential treatment center serving boys ages 12-17 years old. These students receive year round school through BRAINATION’s academic program.

We are looking for a student-centered Teacher to lead in the spirit of our mission to increase the capacity for learning by inspiring every student to belong, find joy, and be great. Our learning environment engages students in the construction of understanding through asking questions, exploring, researching, and reflecting. We focus on helping students develop coping skills, self-advocacy, and confidence while supporting their academic growth.
