Med/Surg Tele RN Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts available: Night shift (3x12-Hour: 19:00 - 07:30) and Day shift (3x12-Hour: 07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may vary to meet operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide patient care within a hospital setting and may have the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED while caring for the same patient population. The position requires strong assessment, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, respond appropriately to changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Recent experience within the last 18 months in a Med/Surg Tele setting.
