Registered Nurse II - Float Pool, Full-time, 7PM Night Shift

Job Description The Cedars‑Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dedicated RN who enjoys variety to support multiple hospital units on a rotating basis. This role, a Registered Nurse II in the Float Pool, involves orientation to multiple inpatient departments and staffing across the hospital based on need. Bonuses $10,000 Sign‑on Bonus for External New Hires (if hired by May 31, 2026) $10,000 Employee Referral Program bonus eligible Float Pool Duties The position primarily focuses on the following units: Medical Surgical Telemetry MSSU Ortho Units PCU Critical Care (ICU & ED as needed) Floats may work across various departments ensuring adequate staffing. Tuition Assistance Plans (first day of employment): Tuition Reimbursement: Repays up to $600 per calendar year for educational activities. Position Summary Provides direct and indirect patient care services, including medication administration and therapeutic interventions. Demonstrates advanced assessment skills to evaluate signs, symptoms, reactions, behaviors, and general appearance. Displays knowledge and identifies special adjustments for specific population needs, including cultural, spiritual, age, psychosocial, communication, gender, and economic factors. Provides assistance to co‑workers, new staff, temporary staff, and students. Functions as a change champion and participates in departmental quality improvement activities. Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. (Nights) Qualifications Educational Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. License/Certifications Valid California RN license. BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. PALS if floating to the Emergency Department. Experience Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
