Electrical Product Engineer

1. Lead and support activities to ensure manufacturing, installation, and operational testing meet design and functional requirements.
2. Design electrical components, systems, and equipment for commercial and industrial applications.
3. Perform load calculations and select appropriate electrical components to ensure system efficiency and safety.
4. Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex technical issues related to electrical systems.
5. Support product development initiatives, ensuring designs align with engineering and business objectives.
6. Assist in testing finished products and systems to validate performance and reliability.
7. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and test procedures.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a product-focused role.
Proficiency in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and innovative approach to design challenges.
Working knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, including NEC, IEEE, and other industry-specific codes.
Excellent communication and documentation skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
