Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Driver Area Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations through mobile patrols, strong communication, and customer service. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, entrances, parking areas, transit-access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity according to post orders.
- Support daily operations by providing directions, answering routine questions, assisting with crowd and line management, and completing assigned reports related to security-related events and observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
