Join our innovative team as a dynamic and detail-oriented  Data Center Project Manager ! In this exciting role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of data center projects, from startup to commissioning. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of data center environments, including cutting-edge colocation facilities and expansive hyperscale sites, ensuring seamless project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone with a robust mechanical background, particularly in thermal execution and chilled water systems. Your expertise in functional and integrated system testing of thermal equipment within data centers will be crucial. While experience in other industries is also highly valued, the ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, have completed an industry training program, or have equivalent years of experience.

Project Management:

  Lead and manage data center projects, ensuring timely execution from startup to commissioning.

\n
• \n

  Develop and maintain detailed project schedules that track milestones and deliverables.

\n
• \n

  Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project modifications in alignment with client requirements.

\n

\n

Technical Oversight:

\n

\n
• \n

  Oversee integrated system testing and functional testing of data center sites.

\n
• \n

  Provide expertise in thermal execution for data centers, particularly in chilled water systems.

\n
• \n

  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering and technical teams.

\n

\n

Team Coordination:

\n

\n
• \n

  Manage and mentor technicians on-site, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project plans.

\n
• \n

  Act as the primary point of contact for technical and operational questions during project execution.

\n
• \n

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction management, and client services.

\n

\n

Customer Engagement:

• \n

  Interface with data center customers to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.

\n
• \n

  Ensure projects meet customer specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.

\n
• \n

  Support post-installation follow-up to verify operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

\n

What you will bring:  

\n

\n
• \n

  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, industry training programs, or equivalent years of experience (7+ years of experience.)

\n
• \n

  Proven experience managing projects in the data center, industrial, or HVAC sectors.

\n
• \n

  Demonstrated expertise in thermal execution, especially in systems involving chilled water or water cooling.

\n
• \n

  Experience in integrated system testing, commissioning, and functional testing is preferred.

\n
• \n

  Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of complex data center infrastructure.

\n
• \n

  Proficiency in project management tools and software.

\n
• \n

  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

\n
• \n

  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and engage with technical staff.

\n
• \n

  Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• \n

  Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$105,228.33 - $168,700.00\n
