What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Ophthalmology Technician Assistant at MVA, you'll assist our Ophthalmology Technicians and the entire care team in diagnosing and managing various eye conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and assisting specialty departments with daily patient care
• Providing patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning cages
• Restraining and handling canine and feline patients safely and confidently
• Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members (both verbal and written)
• Stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in treatment and diagnostic areas
• Help ensure overall hospital cleanliness and organization

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position.

• Tuesday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation

• Starting at $19.00/hour

• Experience in a specialty or advanced general practice-prior ophthalmology exposure is a plus
