The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas with a focus on both preparation and cooking tasks within a small kitchen team of 1-3 cooks. This role supports the kitchen and restaurant managers and operates in a fast-paced environment requiring flexible shifts that include day, evening, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and dough for pizza making
• Handle dough and apply toppings accurately
• Cook pizzas using proper oven operation techniques
• Maintain strict food quality control and sanitation
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Monitor inventory and manage waste efficiently
• Comply with all safety and hygiene regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in culinary preparation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Proficient knife skills
• Experience with kitchen equipment operation
• Strong time management abilities
