The candidate will be expected to design, develop, validate and deploy models to drive solutions to complex manufacturing and supply chain problems within the sort, die prep, assembly and test areas.In this role job responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:Identify risks and opportunities for strategic toolset roadmaps, collaborating with partners to quantify impact, develop solutions, and secure ratification of recommendations.Partner with internal stakeholders to define the long-range capacity strategy, with consideration of product roadmaps, architecture, demand, parameters, factory capability, affordability, space, and forecast uncertainty.Forecast build plans for requirements in collaboration with cross organizational stakeholders.Help communicate the holistic direction to manufacturing organizations including capital, capacity and/or product roadmaps.Leverage various data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights to make recommendations and influence strategies.Create and communicate accurate capacity requirements to ensure planning processes and tools are aligned with manufacturing strategies.Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop detailed execution plans and/or systems to enable the organization's vision.Monitor toolset performance and analyze roadmaps to ensure alignment and compliance with the network's overall strategy.Investigate, design, and develop production capacity models and data systems to balance production efficiency, eliminating waste, and reducing costs, while adhering to technical process requirements and maintaining quality standards.Develop mathematical equipment run rate models, support ramp and end-of-life plans, develop and implement total cost of ownership Continuous Improvement Project's (CIP's).Organize, prioritize, plan and have time management skillsQualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Material Science or Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineer or other related discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience OR;A Master’s degree in Material Science or Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineer or other related discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience OR;A PhD in Material Science or Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineer or other related discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience.Relevant experiences should include:Knowledge of the manufacturing operations, flows, equipment, facilities and understanding of the factory capacity and/or capital systems.Ability to develop, validate and maintain parametric models to predict equipment performance, also known as Speed Models, (Example: cycle time, throughput, set-up / conversion / availability.Preferred Qualifications: Data collection, organization, statistical design, analysis and manipulation skillsetData mining and analysis using SQL, JMP, or PowerBI.Understanding of supply chain management and/or experience dealing with external suppliersExperience with semiconductor manufacturingWillingness to spend up to 50 percent of time on the manufacturing floor for periods of time to development module knowledge and collect data thru observations.Work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves.Take advantage of this opportunity to join Intel and shape the future of engineering.
