Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

**Experience or 'Must have' skills:** - Travel RN's must have ICU/Intermediate (Stepdown) experience with a nurse to patient ratio of 3 to 1 or 2 to 1. - ICU/Intermediate nursing skills. - Must have trach and vent experience (frequently see trach/vented patients on the unit). **Required Certifications:** - BLS required; ACLS recommended. **Licensure:** - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated. **Additional Requirements:** - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Candidate must produce a negative drug screen for all panels, as OSF is a Drug-Free Campus. **Other Preferences:** - BSN not required. **Leadership and Support:** - Charge Nurse &/or House Supervisor present on each shift. Charge nurse may take patients if staffing is not ideal. - Tele tech's interpret strips and RN's confirm. **Unit Operations:** - Titrate drips: Yes, including Cardene, Cardizem, Amio, Dobutamine, Heparin, and Vasopressors if low dose or infrequent titration. - Floating: Travel RN's are first to float; can float to ICU with extensive ICU experience, otherwise to other Stepdown or Gen Med.
